The Year of the Monkey – Docklands Party Venues

Undoubtedly one of the best aspects of life in Melbourne is the cultural diversity on display on the streets and in the suburbs every day. From Footscray to Balaclava, Coburg to the CBD, our city is full of people from all walks of life and backgrounds who are united in a myriad of different ways. A particularly strong and vibrant group in Melbourne is the Chinese community and the biggest celebration on their calendar begins next week. This year looks set to be bigger than ever with a series of collective and cohesive events held at various party venues throughout Melbourne.Реечные потолки. Монтаж своими руками

In previous years, Chinatown has been an obvious focal point of the Chinese New Year celebrations in Melbourne, to the detriment of other locations. This year, organisers have joined forces to present an array of united events at numerous locations. One of these locations is Docklands and the for two weeks our favourite waterfront suburb will be transformed into a string of party venues. Harbour Kitchen, of course, needs transformation. We are and always have been a premier party venue, but we’re excited to be in the midst of the action once again for a Melbourne celebration.

The Year of the Monkey will be welcomed in at Docklands with a range of lively activities and cultural entertainment options. There will be red lanterns, a corridor of stars and moons, playing pandas and an extensive phoenix installation. There will also be craft activities, face painting and, of course, dragon dances. It promises to be a vibrant, fun and meaningful fortnight and, as our location so often provides, Harbour Kitchen has front row seats to all the action.

If you find yourself exploring a new look, new year Docklands, be sure to pop into the best of the party venues, Harbour Kitchen. Come and enjoy a drink, a meal and a festive atmosphere worthy of the Year of the Monkey.
